    oil leak

    Hey all,
    I am new to Katriders and just got my first 97 Kat for free! It needs a little love.
    My first problem:
    Leaking oil plug
    got a new plug but it did not work. It kept spinning when I tried to tighten it. I took it out and stuck my finger in the hole and there were no threads. Not like it was stripped, but just no threads. felt like plastic. Am I missing a piece?
    Any help woul be great!
