I finally used up all the expensive bike named fluid & use Dot 4 that I buy off the shelf from Wally's World.
I don't know how fast my bike goes, I've never stopped to find out.

              1. A agree Zuki was a bit rude..
              (Come on man.. )
              2. Cyber isn't all Dot 4 Synthetic?
              3. As Cyber stated Castrol LMA is very clear.
nearly like water.. If what comes out of your bleeder
isn't just as clear, all the old fluid isn't bled.
Plus if it goes dark in the reservoir you know you need
to change it and/or check your reservoir seal.
              4. I have to say for what seems like the 100th time.
Why cheap out on brake fluid?!?!
Would you buy a parachute at "wally world"?
Castrol LMA is available at Dennis Kirk for $3.50
$3.50 for a bottle of fluid that should fully
replace the fluid in your Kat.. Something you
              do once a year?!?
I think it is so cheap and easy I do it twice a year!
Always have. Sure I'd love more power.
I'd love to drag my knee.
But if I had to point to the single most important
part of my (or any motorcycle) it would
              be that right hand lever..
Who cares how fast I can go if I end up as a hood ornament?

I don't beleive so, and the DOT standard doesn't say it has to be.
                Standards for DOT 4 are:

                ODT/NHTSA: FMVSS 116 DOT 4
                SAE J 1703
                ISO 4925

Generally you cannot go wrong with something healthy like Gatorade, especially if your break is between workout routines. I like to try and squeeze in a beer or four during my lunch breaks from work, but that does depend on your type of supervision and the job expected of you. And you can never go wrong with some H2O.

Check out "Rolling Stock"... I swear, more people have trouble with their breaks than their brakes!

Ya know, just punch your boss in the face and say "Lay off dude, I need my brake!"

I got a big bottle of that stuff at the local auto parts store, and changed out me and Convicts brake fluid. Both of ours were way contaminated and brown in color. It was nasty. We both noticed a difference after changing out the fluid.

I used a hand pump type vaccum thingy that I got at Harbor frieght for like 20 bucks (on sale), think it is called Mighty Vac. It has a ton of different tips and adaptors for different type of caliper nipples and what not. Very easy to use, and very easy to do a fluid flush with it.

Just be careful not to get any brake fluid on your paint!!!!
