Slip on possible?

I have a 2003 Katana 600 and where my pipe hits the exhaust there are no bolts, it is just welded. There are, however, bolts down near the bottom of the frame. So is it possible to do a slip on, or do I have to buy a full?

It looks welded but there is a clamp there if it is OEM. The bolt is towards the inside and you have to get under there to see or just reach and you will feel it. When you buy the slip on, it replaces that midpipe with a new one which connects to the can.
