clutch is too tight or the cable like B_P said. That is the only two things that are normally the problem. If you have another issue then it is time for a clutch and clutch basket.

Thaz and BP are right if you're in gear with the clutch in. I'm still adjusting mine after getting a new clutch cable. But if it's happening in nuetral, you've got other problems.

I can't imagine it's possible to pull ahead in neutral unless you mean first gear with the clutch pull in like previously mentioned. Or are you on a hill or something.....

actually it is in nuetral. it only happens till it gets warm and i ride it for a while. i can feel a loos and gain in power in this time also. in nuetral or in first with the clutch pulled it will try to pull itself forward in nuetral its very suddle but it will pull itself off the kick stand- which causes me the most trouble

Hmmm is your neutral light on?
I'm wondering if you have a false neutral..

I was thinking wrong about this..
In neutral the pinion gear should be off completely..
Only really thick oil should cause this..
                (even then?!?!)

Yes it is possible if the clutches are too tight.

I can't tell you all how many times I have seen the back wheel spin in neutral with the tire in the air.

I've seen tires spin while in the air quite a few times , but HIS is pulling on the ground .

Yeah, and I told you what are the normal reason's. If I need to add I will, worn out clutch basket making the clutches stay in one position. Clutches way too tight, like when someone adjust the clutch screw all the way in and doesn't back it off 1/4 turn like I would do it.

I presume that you have inproper adjustment or wornout clutch basket.

How many miles of the bike? is the first question I would ask.
How do you ride on a regular bases?
Do you launch it hard or ease into it?
and so on and so on!

the bike has about 20K miles
i try to ride at least a few miles a week more in the summer
on my take offs it depends on where its easy
my biggest question is y it only does it before it warms up after a ride 20 miles or so its fine.

What weight oil you running? THat can make a difference until the oil warms up.

                              Yeah sounds like gear oil...
If you didn't put the oil in, drain it and refill with the
                              right oil..
