  • Full exhaust system 1998 kat

I am looking for some recommendations as to what exhaust to buy for the kat after winter, the current pipes are rusted to hell so I am looking to change them for some stainless steel ones. What would the experts here recommend?

Also I am in England so that eliminates a few american brands that would require shipping.

The brands are limited enough already. I dont know of any full exhaust made for post kats honestly. For a bike with no lower fairing, a bandit full exhaust would work, I dont know if there would be fitment issues with the lower fairing. But then your back to looking at systems in the US
Could swap the oil pan and pickup and use a pre exhaust as well.

That would explain why I can't find any full systems then. I did think about a bandit system but I don't know how well it would fit.

I have just found out about a small business a few miles away that makes custom exhausts for just about anything so I will check them out and hopefully report back with some videos when it is done. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

I have a full Hindle exhaust system. Don't know if they make them still, as I found mine on ebay, but it is definitely a full system, designed to fit the post Kats. It sounds sooooo nice.

Also, Hindle is a Canadian brand. Don't know if that helps with shipping at all though.

Yoshi doesnt make the headers anymore?

I know HardRacing (a Kawi vendor) has LV systems on deep discount. Get some Ti headers and build your own system.

Did Yosh ever make a header for a post kat? I've never seen one. But I would be interested.

I thought they did, can't seem to find one though.

Not cheap, but both Holeshot and Hindle still make full systems for the Katana.
