  • successful fork rebuild

    rebuilt my forks the other day since they were really leaky, as you can tell. I used all ball seals, been riding for a week so far and no leaks. I reused the copper crush washers by annealing them and replaced a lost spacer with a washer from a hardware store. and a little simple green, fine steel wool and brush to clean it up

    Wow - was there any oil left in there?? Bike has got to handle a whole lot better now.

      it most definitely does, there was about a 1/4 of what should have been in there when i poured it out.
