  • Valve Clearance Check/Values

So I checked my valve clearance values and these were the readings. The exhaust side (towards the front of the bike) seems to be set to intake clearance values and the intake side (closest to air box) seem to be at exhaust values. Also 2 valves were really off on the intake side (cyl 2 right valve and cyl 3 left valve), any possible reasons for this?

Cylinders are numbered from right to left if seated on bike.

    Cyl 1:
    Ex. L: 0.17mm R: 0.16mm
    In. L: 0.19mm R: 0.18

    Cyl 2:
    Ex: L: 0.17mm R: 0.17mm
    In: L: 0.25mm R: 0.19mm

    Cyl 3:

    Ex: L: 0.15mm R: 0.16mm
    In: L: 0.18mm R: 0.23mm

    Cyl 4:

    Ex: L: 0.15mm R: 0.15mm
    In: L: 0.12mm R: 0.16mm

Haha sounds good. I guess in the middle of the range 0.15 mm intake and 0.20mm exhaust?

In the middle and get them as close to the same as you can.
