  • What should a solo cowl cost to have professionally painted?

I got ahold of 2 different places today and they both quoted $150-$250!! i didnt expect that much for such a small piece. Also, can you buy the paint, or have a color close to it? Im sure I could rattle can it to look decent. Thoughts?

You can buy color-rite paint in rattle cans to color match. You are getting charged a small job rate...

Try color-rite, like steves suggested, or a local auto body supply store. Many PPG and DuPont retailers can put custom-mix paints in rattle cans for you. Then you would need a 2-part rattle can clear, such as spraymax to clear it with.
