How much race prepping do they require for this thing? I've heard that some "open" track days don't require you to safety tie your bolts or anything, just blakc out your lights, take off your mirrors, and you're good to go. I'd love to go, but i've spent a shitload of money lately and don't have any leather pants.
    What the deuce!?!

dang mabie ill put that on the list...."defore i hit 30"
      1. Neither do I
      2. Renting is really cheap.
      3. Duct tape is cheap. Just cover the lights up and you're good.

      But I'm 32.

We're trying to keep it simple for this one. No lock wire or coolant switch. Just tape the lights, tape/remo the mirrors, and remove the tag. As for the pants, we're allowing textile for the novice "A" (not Joe Rocket "Pheonix" type) or they have suits for rent. $60 for the day

Um , I read that if you didn't unplug your lights too , that the tape would bake on there .

Sometimes it will, but I've never had it to do it. I always leave my tail light plugged up and just tape over it. But I do normally unplug the headlight because it's really easy.

Unfortunatley Jay, you'll have to leave the sparkies off for the track day . Thanks for signing up and look forward to riding with ya again. Did you find a place for the bike?

                      Bump...

                      There are still slots available.

This is a "newb" style trackday.

It's a great way to learn, and speed without the thought of getting a ticket.

Oh yeah, and it's only $110 for the whole day.

Many members from KR will be there.

Man, that is only like 3 days before I get my license back(lost it in a car, not on a bike). Sucks. Maybe next year. I can't wait to drive on the roads again.
                            One day....
