  • Coil Pack/Plug wires/Plug cap woes TL;DR at bottom

So, I came home off of deployment in December and decided to clean my carbs and rejet the bike. Took a week because I was taking my time and had alternate transportation. Got everything back together after that week and decided to try to start the bike. It cranked, but didn't turn. It was night time so I decided to leave it be. The next weekend was the same, and I discovered a leaking carb bowl. It started raining as I got the carbs off again.
I let the carbs drain and fixed the o-ring on the leaky bowl. It rained for the next couple of weekends. Got everything together again and tried again. Same story for a while, then no electrics at all. Night time again so I let it sit until the next weekend (today). Found the blown fuse, replaced it, electrics, no spark. Check for voltage at the coil and it's there. Check the resistance at the coil following the manual. Got a primary resistance of 3.0ohms (both coils). Secondary resistance wasn't working with the plug caps on. Pulled the caps and checked them. All of them give me 10kohms roughly (manual says they should be 5kohms). Check secondary again and get 14.6kohms on 1&4 and 14.4kohms on 2&3 (manual says it should be between 25k and 35kohms).
My question is are the wires bad or is it something else? Maybe the plug caps?

TL;DR Put my bike back together after winter storage and got no spark. Checked the coils and the resistances match for the most part. Secondaries are 10kohm off and plug cap resistances are 5kohms off. Why am I not getting spark?

Thanks for any and all help.
    Marc

Water and wet spark plugs. Clean and dry the wires, caps, and spark pugs thoroughly and try again. Carbon on plugs sucks in water, and it sounds like it's been really wet there. Also, trim about an inch off of each wire before you put the caps back on.

Trimmed an inch off of each wire with no change. They have been inside the house this whole time. Any other ideas?
