So today I am on my way to Baltimore (about 20 miles) and I am driving about 80mph which is mostly typical of traffic in this area. Everything is going fine then my bike starts loosing power and sputtering or jolting'ish. I just imagine its a bump and gas it a little....Next thing i know the bike is down to 50mph and is racing down to 0. The bike turns off and I coasted to the side...
I have no idea what to do so I check the gas and its fine (both gauge and tank). Then my thought is that it is overheating somehow. I sit there for about 15 mintues and decide what to do as cars fly past. I decide to start it up and give it another go. Wont start without the choke all the way on...weird. I get it started let it run for a second (on choke) for a minute and try and go. Does it again about a mile down the road (goes, loses power then stalls). At this point I am 15 miles from home, I literally was on the side of the road 2 hours. Broke down 6 different times...finally make it about 4 miles from the house and at a gas station fill it up....Runs fine the rest of the way home...
I am guessing that I somehow had bad gas....although I've road it the past two days each for like 3 miles.
Either way....horrible. Somewhat relieved it was the gas....somewhat aggravated at a crappy night...
Lastly? if each morning the condensation is on the outside of the seat tank and bike in general is it possible that it was in my tank?
