the hoax was that rossi was spotted @ yammie HQ... but every one is almost sure that rossi will make the switch.

History will show Rossi to be the GOAT in MotoGP. History will also show he has not ridden with the same reckless abandon he once did in his prime since he broke his leg. He will stay with Ducati, they will pay him 12 million euros and he will make 2 & 1/2 times that with his personal sponsors and endorsements, 30 million euros per year, 60 million over the two year contract. Yamahas best offer...3 maybe 4 million euro, one year contract. Vale wants to win again, and he will, a couple of years down the road on a Ducati Superbike that they will credit his developement in MotoGP as the reason they returned to World Superbike as a factory team. Shades of Biagi and the Aprilia. His business handlers simply will not let him walk away from the money, think big picture...

Now, that being said, my prediction is based on pure BS, but I'll be willing to bet it's more accurate than the other story when his plans are finalized...lets all stay tuned and see! This is why they call it "silly season"...

I actually think that Rossi is tired of the Duc team... he has been riding it for a while already and hasn't made much improvement. the only reason for that is that when he communicates with the team for refinement he is ignored and or they take too long to make the changes. This has been ducati's problem for years. They try to rely on pure machine performance to win races, with traction control and nonsense of that sort. but until they completely automate the rider they will continue to lose.

I think Audi will change the way Ducati does R & D. Nicky has always been one of my favorites, and I believe the reason they kept him is because of Audi wanting an american on the team. North America is a huge market for them. Audi leads the tech race in all of the types of racing they compete in...and I think MotoGP is next for them. Time will tell...

Lorenzo has ben reeping all the rewards of the M-1 from what Rossi had developed . Rossi is getting old and wants more wins and the duc is not flying right for him .

                            Sooo,

Let's hope Dovi goes to Ducati and proves himself again to be the top rider he is...

He's already embarrassed Ben Spies on a lesser bike. Now I hope he goes to Ducati and beats Rossi... That would be awesome.

If only Casey would stay another year. Would make for some drama...

I secretly want Pedrosa to win this year. Would make Jorge's life hell next year...
