painting... again

So, as some may remember from about this time last year, I was painting my bike.
I finished after dragging it out over a very long period of time, but I cheaped out on non-automotive paint and a crappy clear coat.
After a week of being out in the sun, the bright pink faded to a weird orange. And someone left my tank on it's edge when it was in for a carb cleaning, and gas spilled out over the tank, melting the paint. Awesome.

So, I'm in the process of re-painting... and I love the new paint.
Got myself some auto-paint put into rattle cans, and went to town on it. Hopefully will finish this weekend with the weather looking good!

Not bad, very sparkly. I always thought the "girl" stencil was cool looking


I'm contemplating painting my Kat, but procrastination, my 3 boys all starting little league and soccer, and $$$ have put it off for a little while

it's not perfect, certainly not show quality... but, i wanted to say that i did it all myself
