Been seeing these adverts on TV a lot recently.. Do you guys in America have similar?

I cant recall EVER seeing an American made motorcycle awareness ad on television

I like that...I think I remember seeing an ad on TV a couple of years ago...but it was short lived and nothing clever or memorable

Actually Minnesota has a stellar campaign. Not on par with the Brits (who I think per capita have more riders than the US) but the run great print and TV ads.

This one is a rip on a Brit ad:

What I particularly like about the vids up here is that so so many motorbike accidents are because of other people on the road and the adverts are targeting them when raising awareness.
From what I've seen in my 8 years of riding the roads, including a brief spell across the Atlantic, there's not nearly as much of a problem here of these squidly riders about as you Americans have. Though disappointingly there are still too many.

Not enough of that type of advertising, especially in the seasonal states... We get those little yard signs that say "Motorycylists Are Everywhere," but that's about it. Seriously, I think the industry (manufacturers and dealers), AAA, NHTSA and the Fed/State departments of transportation need to get together and spend some money on advertising like that...

Unfortunately, they spend all their resources fighting with ABATE on the helmet issue...

Minnesota is amazing, they even pass out book marks at the library with motorcycle awareness tips on them..

Right, they are making a well balanced statement. Yes motorcycles are harder to see than cars, but if your driving correctly you will see them.
