  • 89 GSX1100 Refresh...

Ok so i was bored with how my kat looked and it had some scars from being dropped by me so i decided to wanted to repaint it.

After going back and forth on how I was gunna do it i decided on a play off of a factory scheme from a 92 Katana.

    My bike before the teardown

I also wanted to eliminate tyhe stupid reflector under the tail light and fix the sides of the tail where the PO had some god aweful cats eyes lights...

Here is a photochop of what its gunna look like when done.

here is how it looked this morning

    some action pics...

Here is a nice closeup of what ive done to the tail.....nice and cleeeeeean

and here is how it sits. the orange is striping tape. this will mark the white for the stripe. next goes on the red. but that will be at a later date

Looks good so far! I kinda like the light color with the yellow strips. (Kid beat me to it) Is that a stock fender? I like the shape, I wonder if that will fit my 600?

yes thats a stock 1100 fender. it will get painted later cause it just gets painted red and i got to pull off the wheel to remove the fender.

Although I too liked the orange stripes on the white. I must say that looks AWEsome with a capital AWE
