  • 17 inch conversion for 1100 Katana

    Hey Guys,

Seeking info on converting to 17's from 16's. This has more than likely been covered on every website that has a Katana forum for 1100's as this gives us more tire options, but I skipped school that day. If I could get some feed back, I would appreciate it.

    Thanx,

I think Bandit 12 wheels are the easiest way to go, but not sure.

Actually, I think so. Or close. Sorry, I emailed a guy who was selling a Kat 1100 with Bandit wheels on it, but the message is not in my fleabay message boxes. If I could, I would message him and ask him.

I might try the wheels on my B12 on my Kat1100, next winter, but only if the GT550 is running- we can ride year-round here in Atlanta.

so your in Atlanta, I'm in Duluth, Ga. About 25 min north of proper Atlanta. maybe we could take a ride sometime in December . I'm from Michigan originally, you can ride all year around down here.

Back to the subject. I would have thought that would cause problems with the rear swingarm and the width of the tire. As far as the front, I guess the easiest way to try to bolt it on and see what happens.

appreciate your feed back. If you ever feel like burning some gas contact me at: [email protected]

You will be on my call list, email me direct with your phone number.

Perhaps we can work together next winter on the wheel swap.
