Garden grove car show...

We have a weekly classic car / hot rod car show in downtown Garden Grove and Raquel said we should go sometimes 'cause it's only 5 minutes from the house. So, last Friday after school we took in the sights. These are her pics:

I used to own a '70 Challenger. Sold it when I got married in '88. Don't have the wife or the car anymore.
Batting 0 for 2.
Really miss that car... keeping mouth shut about the ex.

Mom showed up after work. She was pretty beat. All day at a fire loss in Altadena but was a real trooper.
I think the bribe of dinner and beer at Azteca did it. Mexican food in an Elvis-worshiping atmosphere. (The entire restaurant
is one big Elvis tribute with wall-to-wall memorabilia.









I'll post some of my iPhone pics of the more "mechanical stuff" later. Raquel was more interested in the retro coolness of the cars.

HAHAHA...very funny...at least the DMV says I still have a bike...just got the registration renewal for it...jeez $73.00 to register that thing...I think it was like $50 last year.. CA is hurting for $$
