My friend's brother did the same thing. The bad part was the engine ingested water and shrunk the piston. I'm sure it wasn't pleasant pushing an enduro with no compression out of the water.

I once had to move a Norton 850 Commando out of the river we now live on. It had washed away in high waters. But Tim Kreylin has the best fishing story...weren't you there John? The Harley dive?

I didn't see it happen but I know about it. Missed not having the Rally last year.

I had a recent issue with a barbed wire fence at speed. That's what I get trying to keep up with crazy young'ns. I hope to not repeat that. I'm running out of my 9 lives.......
