  • How many rpm's

Hello everyone. At 60 mph in 6th gear, how many rpm's am I supposed to be at? My rpm's were at almost 5k and.it seemed a little to much. I have a 1997 gsx600 Katana. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Your bike doesn't even kick in until 8k... 5k is almost lugging around.

    Your rpms are fine.

You're like I used to be. Not used to such a high revving motor. 5k is riding it very easy. Let your bike stretch her legs a little more!
