Hi guys, probably an old question? But will the later model gsx750f oil cooler fit the earlier model. Mines a 1989 model. Thanks for your help

The part numbers are different, so I would guess no. And, based on a quick Google Image search, the pre-98 GSX750F cooler looks shorter. I think there were a few more rows added in 98.

    A used 1989 oil cooler isn't too expensive, $40 on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oil-Cooler-w...62b65d&vxp=mtr

+1 to what he said but, it can be made to fit. Just depends on your skill level.

Just don't use a smaller size, these kats need all the cooling they can get!

If it can be made to fit and is a little bigger, then I'd say go for it. The extra cooling is probably a good thing.
