Must be a better way to get carbon fiber.

Hey guy's and gal's, I have noticed different post in regards to getting a carbon fiber yoke protector/insturment surround form "Fibre-Lyte" for my kat. I have left several emails to the company/dealers of "FIBRE-LYTE" through their website with no response. Is there a different contact/way to make this happen? Thanks..Another company perhaps...

Don't know any others, but there are web sites that actually sell the sheets of carbon fiber.
I too have bought from Fiber-Lyte and now I would have tried to cut my own.

Speedee did you ever actually cut down carbon fiber sheet? How did you do it? I would be afraid of leaving a rough nasty edge by using a saw. Maybe an abrasive cutter?

You can cut it and then use sand paper to smooth out the edges. Just cut it a hair bigger than you want so there is material to sand.
