I also just installed silverstars and they are great. I can see alot better now, and they don't look yellow like my old ones.

Back when I had my honda a lot of people on the forums would buy the clear lights and then paint them with model paint (tint) to get them black... AFAIK they painted the outside and lost no practically no light. Make sure you note I said 'practically no'. When I'm riding my bike I keep my high beam on constantly and want to be completely visible to others as well as being able to see as much as I can. I would not do this to a bike you plan to ride at night AT ALL. But you should be able to pick up black model tint paint (its like a transparent)/

To be honest though if you don't ride a lot at night or if ride at night in the city and not on highways I don't see how the decrease in light would affect you that much. I have these http://www.bluhmenterprises.com/prod...category_id=14 on my silverstars and the work great as far a night time visibility and they look so cool.Wish You Were Here?
