Default taller windscreen ?

I have a katana 750 06 model and I want to get a taller windscreen for highway riding

Anyone know where can i get a taller windscreen from, I can only find standard sized ones on ebay Aus and US ?

Or do I have to make my own ?

Check with ZGOutlet (Ebay seller for Zero Gravity) and see if they have what you want. Let's see if this link works: http://stores.ebay.com/ZGOutlet/Kata...=p4634.c0.m322

I'm considering adding a Laminar Lip to the stock windshield on my '06 600 Katana. Does anyone have any experience or comments about them? I've also looked at the touring version of the Zero Gravity replacement windscreen. Not a significant difference in price that would give a big incentive to go one way or the other. I'm just interested in getting a bit more wind protection for touring and would like to hear from anyone who has either one.

Thanks

Lynn

I got a cheaper knock off of the zero G - definitely like the extra height.

shpielers....If I recall correctly from when I was looking at the Zero Gravity windscreens they're about 4" longer measuring along the center of the windscreen, and that makes it end up about 2 1/2" higher (vertically) than the stock screen. Does that sound similar to the "knock-off" screen you have?

Thanks.

Yep. I've never measured it but that sounds about right.

Thanks! I did some more searching and found another "no name" windscreen, perhaps like what you have. They were under $20 (!) on Amazon (I think). The only downside I saw with them is that they stood up really vertical and made the front of the bike look a bit "boxy", not following the lines of the fairing very well. I guess if it works that's the most long-remembered thing, but stylish would be a welcome feature! I'll go back and look at them again. Thanks for the input!

I ordered a no-name off Ebay. $20 or so. The screen on my Kat was mostly busted when I got it but it looked stock. The new one is about 3" "longer". so accounting for the angle it's likely about 1.5" higher or so. I think it will be a nice improvement.

Did you already get the new windscreen and install it? I'd like to see a photo of the bike from the side to see if it's what I might be looking for.

I'm picking up my newly painted bodywork today, hopefully get everything put back together in the next week or so. I'll put up some pictures then.
