  • Cold Starting

I've noticed that my Jetta likes to stumble sometimes during the first start in the morning. Sometimes I even have to crank it twice to get it running. Also, after the start, it doesn't idle evenly for about a minute.

No other problems throughout the day and the car is fantastic from every other perspective.

I did notice that this problem does not occur when it is cold outside (during late fall/winter).

I don't think anything is wrong with it, and I've seen many complaints on this board about cold starting, etc..... Is there any fix for this?

Sorry, I'm a dumba$$. I had the MKV Jetta forum open at the same time and posted in wrong place. Please delete.

sound like a typical VW. My freind owns a Carrado and a Jetta and if one is working then the other isn't.

Outside temp sensor wire insulation probably cut, wire iffy.

        Good Luck!
