Heading out from Bedford Sheetz.
This pic is mostly for Cheriff...
Small shoulder = safe place to stop and play grabass...
Did I mention that it was about 704 degrees?
Dead thing...
Top off before entering the District. Bought some kind of petroleum water-free cleaner junk from the stand in the background.
There's an error there. Michael Strank was actually from Johnstown.
There were probably times when our parade rest was a little tighter.
Scout did some cop talk with the Parks Police guys and hooked up the awesome parking spot. Otherwise it would have been a mile walk.
We have a friend named "Coyne" which is why this sign is funny. To us...
Um...poultry.
This part of the WWII Memorial is much cooler than my crappy pics. Those eagles are huge.
A few minutes before our 20 mile ride down the shoulder. Much to the chagrin of the idiot cagers who were clogging the pipes.
Keeping with the tradition of meeting odd people with odd animals-
Here's a three legged dog.
Was a fun trip. D.C. is better when you can stay overnight and take in some of the night-life though. There's usually some excellent "scenery" there. Alas, during our trip the weather was mostly "Fatty with an 82% chance of weird, unrevealing foreign attire."
