Weird electrical problem, indicators affecting other components?

With ignition On, I get dash and tail light (no headlight)

With ignition On and indicating left, I also get the headlight, but no indicator

With ignition On and indicating right, I get no headlight, no indicator and I lose dash light

Figure I'd check if anyone had seem something similar before tearing into the wiring loom (most likely try some contact cleaner on the indicator switch housing first)

1989 GSX750F, called Slingshot here but I think it's called a Kat elsewhere

Check the hand control and wiring under the instruments.
