  • Meshing the carb springs

    Finally assembling the carbs after sorting out new rubber and the rebuild kit.


    The only problem is I don't know how the lever arms mesh with the springs so they all actuate when the throttle is pulling on #3.

    As always pictures are attached.

    Put the carbs together than install the spring, I use a small flat tip screw driver, it is a pain to do.

        Wear safety glasses. I've slipped and launched one at my face before.

        I now also slip a small hook (from my hook and pick set) on the spring to help steady it as well as making it less likely to go flying if the screwdriver slips.

          Spent 15 minutes looking for one that launched across the garage but theyre all in now.
