Floats either stuck, misadjusted or the seals at the floats are bad.

i took them apart again. they are defiantly misadjusted. one would even touch the bottom of the carb. i seen a link you posted showing how to adjust them and measure them, but i still have a few questions.
1. what do i measure with a ruler doesnt seem practical for MM?
2. where do i measure at? they are taller in the back then in the front, im assuming the very front.
3. our float height is 13mm right?

To convert mm to inches, use http://www.calculateme.com/Length/Mi...s/ToInches.htm

As for the proper float-height setting, which year/model? Stock or jetted?

you measure from the gasket surface (bottom of the carb body) to the heights part of the float. Did I not just tell you 13.5?

i set them anywhere from 13.2 to 13.5. number 2 is still leaking. im getting a new o ring for it and i forgot to turn my key off so now i have a battery charging at autozone. i tried to jump it but couldnt get it to charge at all. im a little worried i messed up when trying to jump start it.

can you blow the electrical system in a bike this new or just a fuse??

i didnt ever see sparks so i think im good.

Normally just the fuse (breaker in pre-98's). More of a problem is that the battery loses 25-40% of it's long term storage capacity whenever it goes dead. If the guys at Auto Zone are using a standard car charger on it (i.e. - they tend to use 4 to 8 amp-hour chargers), the battery will overheat and get damaged further.

If you're going to hook the bike up to a car to start the bike, make sure the car is not running. Just hook up the battery with jumper cables, with the car off, and start the bike that way.
