you poor bastards. i am lucky enough to be blessed with a long inseam. the v-strom 1k is the only one that comes close to reaching my limit, but i am still flat footed.

here is a little trivia for you. it is not exact because i read it a while ago and can't remember the exact numbers....but it is something like this.
over 80% of all insurance claims for damages to a motorcycle are from bikes that were not being driven on the road or in motion if they were on the road. they are dropped from pushing them, bumping them over, or losing balance while stopped. out of these, it is estimated that something like 50% of the owners could not put both feet on the ground.
so in reality, it is you short bastards that cause my premiums to go up
seriously though....we all bitch about newbie/crazy riders wrecking their bikes and raising insurance rates, when if fact they are less to blame than the "normal" guy who just drops his bike cuz they are only about 15-20% of the claims. it doesn't take much. $2300 damage on my 93 kat when the old lady knocked it over.
