Helmet Lock Removal - 2001 Suzuki Katana

Hello, I had a relative loose my key to my 2001 Katana. What is the best option of locks to remove from the bike to have a replacement key crafted? How does one remove the helmet lock from a 2001 Suzuki Katana?

Please, help me to get my bike out of a long two year sit up idle stage.

If I remember right the helmet lock is part of the grab handle and needs a torx with a hole to remove.
