ok not knocking your stuff dude it looks good BUT...

why don't you all try and be more creative like put busa farings on a kat i think that would be great..

or something along those lines make it look totally differn tand unique

        Looks good .

Maybe polish the rear grab handle for some bling.

A "undercover" mod you might want to do is get one of those louder freeway blaster horns.

yea mang... good start. id paint the silver black (or add more contrast by polishing the rim/lip of rims), and get tinted front signal covers. then you should yank that wimpy 750 out (and give it to me) and put a 1200 in it!

Um, hmmm. Wouldn't that be like *Wannabe Busa rider*

nah I love my Kat, Hell I'll be 40 this May, If I wanted a Busa I could have
bought one. I don't let Insurance or price determine what I ride.
I just happen to love the Katana.

And as far as being "creative" My bike Looks and runs the way *I* choose.

A side car would be differant

                Thanks man

Thats a Dunlop sportmax 150/70ZR17, I know get rid of the stock tires,
But I like the way these tires grip. I'm sure by rally time I'll be running Z-6's

not everyone wants or can do this

but i still find it amusing how people can say this sh!t, but not do it themselves!! wtf?

its like saying to pamela anderson.. your jubblies are great, but.... go get some 856738DD's cos it would make me get excited.

                  cheers.joe.

i understand but i see mroe of the same things i don't knwo i am one of those likes to be differn ttype of people.. when i first got my katana you never see to many on the road.. then i got my thundercat not many of those either.. i like that..

now granted i stunt my bike instead of go for show if i did ya i would take off the rear tail turn it into a r6 rear end and stuff like that but its not my thing with this bike..

maybe its just my creative instinc comming out .. i wasn't trying to piss off people.. i do say his bike looks good but ya..

i just think its more fun doing differnt mods one's that haven't beeen done then sharing how you did them so others can follow

                      +1 on the black
Here's a photoshop I did before attempting mine. I used a paint that had TOO much metallic flake so I'll probably be doing it again with just krylon fusion gloss black

Then again, I think the black on ur 06 kat is actually pure gloss black and not the metallic black on mine. It'll probably be easier for you

Looks great Darren ..and if you like it, thats all that matters in the end.

Painting the bellypan to match the rest of the bike could definately be a nice touch to tie it all together though too
