After seeing moejoe's post on wheel bearings, i remembered i still have to put new bearings in the post 600 kat wheels I found at the end of the riding season last year. If anyone has already had to replace their bearings and have part numbers on hand for the front and rear wheels for say, a timken or equal quality i would be much obliged.

The OEM fiche will have the bearing sizes for the wheels.
I personally will continue to use all balls myself though.

Example:
If you have a 2k model 600...
Bearings on both sides are same part number... (yes, sometimes they are different by side on some bikes so always check)
Part #3 on fiche, 08123-63027 (B1 15X42X13 BEA)
Bearing part sizes are listed in this order. (Inner Diam.) X (Outer Diam) X (Width).
So the example front wheel uses bearings that fit a 15mm axle (ID), needs a 42mm (OD) hole in the wheel to be inserted inside, and is 13mm wide.

Ok I've been doing a lot of research since i started this thread. what I have found are the front wheel uses (2) 6302-2RS bearings, and the rear uses (2) 6303-2RS bearings along with a 6305 bearing and a 35X62X8mm seal in the sprocket hub. Now the -2RS added to the number indicates 2 Rubber Seals. The 6305 bearing in the sprocket hub uses a separate seal instead of a sealed bearing. My question is: could you just use a 6305-2RS bearing which is sealed and do away with the separate seal all together?
