  • Chain/Sprocket cover

Question: Does the circled bolt need to come off to remove the chain cover? It stuck on pretty well, and I snapped the head off an intake bolt on my car two nights ago, so I'm wary and only want to keep trying with this bolt if I absolutely need to.

I ask because I've removed all of the bolts, but the cover seems stuck on pretty well, as if I missed something. And the haynes manual didn't help.

Pretty sure there is one in the middle somewhere...I used to miss it too.

I'm not near my bike or I'd look for you.

Can't get it to run right? Find a trick to add HP?

Oh wow. I completely missed the one in the middle. Had to angle my head down to see it. Thanks.

There's about a half inch of 20 year old oily poop built up behind the sprocket :S
