  • My new paint Job :)

So my kat needed a paint job BAD.
Posted some before and after photos, along with some photos of the cracks and broken pieces i attempted to fix.

For the broken pieces i did some plastic welding (well, soldering gunned it) along with used 3M body repair kit.

This was my first time and it turned out very well from what i thought.
only 1 piece left to paint and then i move onto my light kit

For the painting all i really did was use 400 wet to sand and then through on a couple coats of dupli-color rattle can, turned out a lot better then the old paint job the previous owner did.

The picture doesnt show the true color (used a camera phone) it is a dark metallic GM blue. looks real nice in person

pretty sweet color! im actually in the middle of a job like this myself... i wish all I had was a crack like that. Ive spent more time on body repair than the entire prep and paint time together.

    nice job, looks good

Looks good, and I must say those turn signal lenses are sweet looking. Sure do look familiar though...
