everything is original, however i've been reading the valve adjustment time for katans is like 6k miles.

5000 miles on a 93 isnt much at all. where aer you buying it from, a dealer or private owner.

Try to get the maint. records and prev. owners info if u can. Ask bout routine maint done, check the tires for wear and flat spots as well. super clean on the outside doesnt always mean super clean on the inside... General information about the bike, as much as you can get can really save you alot of heartache in the end. Be sure to check all the wires, air filter, oil, gas tank for rust and condensation as well, spark plus and when they were changed last.

        Good luck !

Check the hard to reach areas for dirt..
Under the carbs.. Rear of oil pan..
A can of engine degraser can go a long way to
          "hide" miles...

Guy has maintence records, and it just came back from the shop from 'winterizing'. Guy just had a kid and his wife is telling, making rather, him to sell it.

I'll definitely check it inside and out the big thing for me is touching the exhaust for heat, and making sure its completely cold. So the guy doesnt try to sell me a 'warm started' bike.

the drool factor was major, dual exhaust. nice riding style, weight wasnt bad. i easily threw it from leg to leg.

i fell in love and bought it, i pick her up wednesday.

i'll get pics as soon as she's at my place

thats a good size for a new rider. the bike is heavy and not made for stunts. Best of luck to you.
