I am wanting to jump to the dark side as well. I am afraid to take one for a test ride....I might actually buy it. Right now just isn't the time......

Those were my options. GSXr750 or Daytona 675. I went with the Daytona. I have had a few people pull up to me to ask what I was on and to compliment my bike. I can not see that happeneing with everyone and their mother owning a GSXr.

Also the reasons we went with our 675... a bit of exclusivity... And to see a Daytona on the same showroom floor as a Duc 1098/848, and an MV Agusta F4 and still look like a million bucks... means it has to have something going for it...

I took the misses to a bar last night and we went 2 up on the 675. We parked out front (glass front of bar) and went in to get drinks. After about 30 minutes a guy came up to me asking if it was my Triumph (mind you I was holding my helmet and had my jacket on so it couldn't have been more obvious) Anyway he starts just raving about the bike and such as he left the bar just to go look at it. Was pretty cool. Never had that happen off the road where someone was soo determined to say nice bike that they found me in the bar to talk.

To be honest dude, you did more selling of the bike then they did. Which showed me that A. the bike must be great for you to talk it up like that. and B. Martins is a great shop that wont push you into anything.
