first time on site

hey everybody this is the first time on the site and want to say hello and tell you all about my project that i have started for my wife it is a 96 katana 600 and everybody told me that it is the worst bike to build but i always root for the underdog so i am here to prove the world wrong i will post pics soon because i am creating a a one off conversion kit that i will start probuceing for all the guys that ride kat that there friend try to clown stay tune for one of the sickest kats you have ever seen sorry it wont be a fighter im from NC and we like them long and low so i know i will get some negitive feed back but its all good the bike is for my wife and there will be no knees down LOL so stay tuned and i would love to hear what u think thanks

Welcome to KR. I don't know many riders in NC that like stretched bikes, but whatever works for you.

Most of our NC riders are living out in the western end of the state. OP is in Fayetteville, down near the coast. Lots of flat, slightly rolling pinelands. Home of Fort Bragg, Pope AFB and a whole lot of sleazy bars! I've had a lot of fun there but the best part was always knowing that I was going home in a week or two.

I'd be happy to wrench on my bike....but I hate working with gloves and freezing my azz off. The good thing is it didn't blow away the other night.
