Does anyone know the size of the snap ring? On shifter?

To hold the actual shift lever or, my snap ring decided to break? I shifted from first to 2nd and the lever came off lol, I limped it home with no snap ring. Where to get it, or what size? I work at a hardware store I didnt know if there was a certain size I needed to get. LMK asap!

just order one new from the dealer if no one replies, they are less then a $1. the same thing happened to me last season and i just rode it for about a week til it came in. i just made sure my foot was always against the shift so it would stay on.

Ugh, I'm pretty sure it's 8mm, but I can't remember exactly. 8mm ~ 5/16ths. I'll probably wander back out to the garage tonight to swap shocks, so I'll give a look and see, but I'm pretty sure it's an 8mm snap ring.

I will just have to go into work tomorrow and see, I will just take them all outside and see what fits lol
