  • front fork inners transplant from kat 600?

I was going to part my 08 out but I got bored one evening and put it back together. Found two wires in the on/off harness that had been split. Fixed them, put gas in it, charged the battery and it fired up instantly and sounds awesome. Now that I have heard it run, I want to ride it.

I've gathered most of the pastic I need. The inner fork tubes were bent.

Best I can tell, I should be able to take the 41mm inners from nearly any 600cc katana, put them into my lower outer fork tube/cases and go on my merry way. Using my outers will allow me to bolt on all of my factory pieces such as the calipers.

Anyone see it differently? I mean, the only thing that really may change is I will likely have a different spring rate. Right?

If anyone one has a nice set of fork tubes from a katana 600, by all means look me up.

There is no such thing as a 2008 kat, and this thread is 2 years old.
