Exactly what he said above. Just pry out that rubber gasket with a little screw driver. Yikes I did something similar with that worm gear but then I realized what I did and put the bearings back in. You might be better off finding that part used on eBay. When you pull in the clutch, the cable pulls that piece and it "expands" or moves forward to apply pressure on the clutch pin which pushes through the gasket to disengage the clutch.
