well....I'm heavy into air cooled vw's, and I've seen early 60's busses going for 6 figures for incorrect restorations. so, i'll leave it at "Anything's Possible", but at the same time I find it highly unlikely he'll get it.

I agree...while its a one owner 1000cc (more rare that the 1100) its still a 22000 mile bike. Not like its a 500 miles dealer or crate find.

I'm a newbie here but I doubt he'll get that. I'm in the market myself and have seen better for $1000's less.
