. Flashback to '04 and my first rally .....
Showed up at the overlook . Been smelling sulfur every time we stopped . Went to start the bike after sitting at the overlook for a few minutes , and nothin . Dead . Push-started and got to the campground . Took out bettery there and found NO water . NONE . Had a friend go get me a bottle of water from someone , filled it up , and bike started RIGHT up . Workde fine for MANY more months . Replaced the battery the following spring "just because" , even though it was still working just fine . In fact , I kept it to start OTHER bikes , for which it STILL worked just fine . Only reason I pitched it was I was tried of looking at it sitting on my bedrrom floor
. It was STILL working when I pitched it , too .
In a nutshell .... Steve , I think your battery will be JUST FINE
. Top it off , throw it on the charger , test with a multimeter , and I'd BET it'll be good .
