  • Plate Lighting

I have an '02 600. I bought the bike used, and I noticed that it still has the shovel on it, but the turn signals are smaller(stocks removed). I also noticed that I don't have a plate light. Is it common for that year not to have one or is it possible that the previous owner removed it? If so, how do I go about installing one so that I won't have any problems with riding at night?

    Thanks,

The previous owner took it off, I bought mine like that too. I bought some led bolts off of ebay that you use to mount the license plate to the bracket and they have leds on them that are angled to light up the plate, they were about $20

How hard was it to rewire the new lights? Where are they wired into?

      Thanks

Should be able to find the old wire , and maybe wire in one or more of those lighted nuts or some such from any auto store .

The previous owner of my bike snipped the old wiring off, I just looked and found the 2 cut wires in the tail of the bike. The 2 wires just hook right up to the leds
