So today I went to my local motorcycle and ATV/scooter dealer and went through with the parts guys to find the new SUZUKI OEM carb to intake boots. Looking at ron ayers and bike bandit (has its own part numbers) I decided to order them at $35 each! The bike dealership was having a 15% off all parts today so thats why I did it. Came out to like $130 for intake boots with orings i believe. ugh

Problem is that all the online schematics had vacuum nipples on the boots which mine does not. And I dont have the part numbers on the boots on my motor now and Im not going to take it apart to see them lol. I thought that the nipples was just a stock photo and not the same for all the bikes/models.

I hope I didnt just make a 130$ mistake as they wont take them back bc they are special order.

Kat 600 part numbers for the boots are as follows.
    13101-19C00
    13101-19C12
    13102-19C12
    13103-19C12

    I hope these are correct!

got the brand new Suzuki 600 boots with orings today. I will attach them to the B12 motor and I want to adjust and check the valves. Anyone know where I can get a downloaded manual? lol

      correct part numbers as follows
      13101-19C12
      13102-19C12
      13103-19C12
      13104-19C12

Also I purchased a used 2003 B12 alternator off ebay which had 8K miles on it so i will most likely use the B12 alternator as it puts out more power than the stock pre katana. Pre katana puts out like 400 something Watts, the B12 puts out 550W at 5K. Im sure some wiring mods will have to be done but thats not biggie.

Also ordered some high flow AN fittings for my 750 kat oil cooler on the B12. Basically cutting the stock 750 lines i got (got them with the bottoms broken off) and using high flow AN fittings to -6AN (or 3/8"ID) SS braided hose to adapter to the hard line right before the top of the cooler. Not only will this look wayyyy cooler but will also flow more that the stock setup.

Also going to start me own B12 swap thread, not sure if that would go here? or which section?

Decided to pull the valve cover to check the valve clearances. They weren't that bad, exhaust was within spec .007-.009" and most were between .007 and .008. I ended up tightening them up to .007" which I hope isn't too tight, reason is I figured it would wear and I could go alittle farther between valve checks as it won't be this easy with the motor in the bike. I don't want to burn up the valves tho so I hope I'm good.

Intake was more off at like .007" for most and spec is .004-.006". So I tightened them up to like .005" tight so it's alittle closer to .004".

Sealed and Tq'd it all back together with some black RTV.

I also verified that the oil cooler fittings in the oil pan are 1.5 metric and my fittings will work, so new fittings coming today and the oil cooler will be -6AN high flow to the stock hard line at the top of the cooler.

Would anyone know the bolt lengths for the clutch cover on a stock 600 or 750?

No, B12 didn't have cover or bolts. Bought used post 750 cover from guy here and he didn't have the bolts.

Guys looking at the B12 oil pan will the V&H header bolt right up? Spacing doesnt look wrong at the primaries but the B12 has a very large sump on the left side of the bike. The stock B12 header is bent to the right side under the bike and the V&H is not. Any ideas?

                    I used the pickup/oil pan from my 750 on my 1127 build . The 750 oil pan is kinda a "V" .
