    • that crossed my mind. I thought about staggering two layers. I have it coiled up and it looks good, but when i look at one layer, It looks like the holes are too big and theres not enough metal there. I want to paint them blue when I install it but im afraid there isnt enough material there to get the desired effect. Im going to cut out a square of it and mock it up and probably submit pictures for KR feedback. it was only $9 so i dont like one layer, and then also dont like the staggered layers then Ill just buy some different mesh. I was thinkin after I bought it that Autozone might carry mesh as well. They have a little rice burner section with all the aesthetics stuff.

      • Personally I wouldn't worry about a hole for an idle adjuster. If you're not carrying around a screwdriver as part of your toolkit already you need to add one.

I agree, doesn't look bad, but the holes are a bit big. If they were about 75% of the size, it'd look a lot better.

I've always got tools on me . Always have since the last time I put my carbs on my bike from adjusting the valves.... while down a busy highway, my throttle cables came loose from the carbs because I didn't tighten everything down.

Had to get a friend to bring me some tools and redneck it until I could take the tank off at home . Won't be doing that again!

13 years later it is still turning heads while the Mesh Mod is still shiny and no cracks with no heat issues.

              • Hey, sorry we're working on that.

You can upload a photo to something like Imgur and then post the link.
