Question

I no longer own a Katana, but it was the first bike I actually purchased. I enjoyed the sound without the slip on exhaust, but I was always afraid of riding like that for a long period of time, my question is....I want to repack my RS-3 exhaust for my ZZR, instead, can I just gut it, and leave it empty? Will the heat cause the can to warp, or discolor? Will it mess up my engine?

Nice write up. i just put on a Yoshi RS3, i like it, not too loud. Won't be in a big hurry to repack it, like it a little louder. Thanks again
