It's not speed that kills, it's the deceleration!

Experience is a hard teacher. She gives you the test first, and then teaches the lesson.

Do the instructions say why? I'm also thinking about getting these bags but was hoping to mount them under the seat so I could leave them on the bike while at work. If they are strapped under the seat, some SOB cant just walk up and take them, he'd hafta cut the straps and that would ruin the bags.

(I'm refering to the saddlebags. I wouldnt try to leave a tailbag on.)

I have the same side bags and they work great, there are 2 velcro straps that I run under the seat and one tie down strap that I put over the seat, also there a ties so you can tie it down the the passenger foot pegs. they came with plastic covers to keep the rain off and they expand for more luggage.

only use the center bag to carry my laptop because it's a little too big for the side bags
I would be scared to put my laptop (if I had one) one my bike. I would make extra sure the bag was secured to the bike firmly before each ride.
