  • Fork Springs

Hello. I took a 1500 mile trip on my 1982 Kat 1100 and was beaten to a pulp by the forks. I had just changed the fork oil from 10 wt to 5 wt and the brake anti-dive is not connected. I am only getting about 1.75" of fork travel compared to 5.91" quoted in the spec sheet. I was careful about draining and re-filling the forks so I do not think they are hydraulically locked. I think the springs are completely sacked. Does anyone know the correct spring free length and where I can buy replacement springs?

    Thank you.
