Default Post exhaust on pre 750 - confirm some questions please

I have a pre 750. My understanding is that a complete post 750 header and exhaust will fit if I upgrade the oil pan and pickup to the post 750 version.

So that would allow me a much wider choice of mufflers as any post 750 can should fit the post 750 header.

Are these understandings correct?

Thank you.
