    i have a set of lowering links for a 01-03 gsxr, probly will fit other gsxr years, but my question is will these fit a 98 katana.

    you'll probably need the gsxr forks conversion to do that but they do make lowering links for post98 kats

      i'm sure it will work, depends on the length of the dogbone really. You may put it on only to find out it is the same as the Kat stock dogbones or something.

        GSXR Links are a different length, let me know what the distance between the holes are, and i will tell you what your ride height will be.

          call me a noob if you will.But can some post an illistration of what a lowering link looks like on a katana.I would like to lower the front and have always wondered how those work.

            The lowering link or dogbone is for the rear. If I were to describe it it would look like a box end wrench, or wrench with both sides closed.

            To lower the front all you would need to do is support the front of your bike via jack under the oil pan. Lift up the front wheel loosen the triple tree and clamp and slide the forks up equally. Clamp them back down and you are all done.
